The Tower of London is a historic castle that was founded by William the Conqueror in 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest of England. Over the centuries, it has served many purposes, including as a royal palace, a fortress, a prison, an armory, a treasury, and even a zoo.

Construction Began in 1078, with the White Tower as the central structure.
Famous for Housing the Crown Jewels, being a former royal residence, and its role in British history as a place of imprisonment and execution.
Notable prisoners Anne Boleyn, Sir Thomas More, Lady Jane Grey, Guy Fawkes, and many others.
Yeoman Warders Also known as "Beefeaters," these ceremonial guards are a famous symbol of the Tower.
Ravens Legend says that if the ravens ever leave the Tower, the kingdom will fall.
