Who Can Use It

Only available to non-Japanese passport holders with a 'temporary visitor' visa (typically up to 90 days).

Where to Get It

  1. In Japan: Purchase at Hankyu Tourist Centers (e.g. Osaka-Umeda or Kyoto-Kawaramachi) or major Hankyu stations.  Bring passport.
  2. Online: Buy through platforms like Klook or Rakuten Travel Experiences for a voucher, then exchange it ofr the physical pass at a redemption point after arriving.  Places can dip slightly online (e.g. ¥700-800 for 1-day)

How to Use It

  • Once you have the pass, just insert it into ticket gates at Hankyu stations. It’s valid from midnight to midnight on the chosen day(s), regardless of when you first use it that day.
  • For the 2-day pass, pick any two days within its validity period (usually until April 30 of the following year if redeemed between April and December, or same-year April 30 if redeemed January to March).

Limitation

  • Hankyu-only.  JR lines or buses (e.g. to Nara or Kansai Airport), use another pass like the Kansai Thru Pass or JR Kansai Pass.

Tips

  • Check the Hankyu route map online to ensure it hits your must-see spots.
  • Pair it with walking or short taxi rides for areas off the rail lines.
  • If exploring beyond Hankyu’s reach, consider alternatives like the Kansai Thru Pass for broader private railway coverage.
